Reflection

As I reflect on our ICT 10 lessons, I am particularly struck by the discussions about the inventors of social media and Blogger.com. These platforms have become an essential part of our everyday lives, and learning about the people behind their creation has given me a deeper appreciation for how much they have shaped modern communication.

Learning about the inventors of social media, such as Mark Zuckerberg with Facebook and Jack Dorsey with Twitter, made me realize how their innovations have fundamentally transformed how we interact with one another. Blogger.com was one of the first platforms that enabled ordinary people to publish their thoughts and ideas on the internet without needing advanced technical skills. It made me realize how the internet has evolved from being an exclusive space for experts to a platform where everyone’s voice can be heard. Blogger.com’s accessibility opened doors for many individuals to share their experiences, thoughts, and expertise with a global audience. This has had a lasting impact on how we consume and share information today.

Overall, our lessons on the inventors of social media and Blogger.com have deepened my understanding of how these platforms have shaped the digital world we live in.
